[January 31: Call for Participants] UNCTAD-Okayama University Special Lecture on Technology and SDGs

On January 9, 2020, Okayama University and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) concluded a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for comprehensive cooperation on the development of human resources in science and technology innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) (STI for SDGs), the first of its kind among universities around the world. Furthermore, the university introduced two human resource development programmes, “Joint Research and Training Course for Young Female Researchers from Developing Countries”(Short-term) and “Doctoral degree program for young researchers from developing countries” (Long-term), based on this MoU.
Okayama University has invited the Director of Technology and Logistics Division UNCTAD to hold a special lecture on the technology and SDGs theme.
We look forward to the participation of Okayama University students, faculty and staff, and everyone from the local community!
